Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 & Premiere Elements 2021 Bundle - Photo & Video Editing Software for PC/Mac (DVD) - Perfect for Photographers, Content Creators & Social Media Marketing

Adobe Premiere and Photoshop are one of the top video and photo editing applications out there. Most people who use it use the Pro versions, which are a subscription-based program through Adobe. I refuse to do subscriptions, so I was happy that they still sell this version. I admit that it is limited when compared to Pro, but for casual or small business use, it's perfect.I use Premiere to make YouTube videos or videos for volunteer organizations that I work with. For that use, it's perfect. The Pro version allows for more 'tracks', so you can add more audio, video, or overlays in Pro, but again, I don't need as many bells and whistles.I don't use Photoshop all that much, but when I do want it, I have it. I've used it to adjust some brightness or color in some photos that I have taken, so I'm not using it for graphic design, although I could just as well. For the general or occasional user, this is a great product. Sure, there are other programs out there, even free ones, but the install base on Adobe products is huge, meaning that there are tons of tutorials and user forums where you can get training or assistance if you need it. The programs are also user-friendly enough that most people can get started fairly easily as I did. Overall, great applications.I was first instructed in the use of Photoshop 6.0 in 2001, while in a U.S. Navy photography course. Once I got the "layers" concept into my head (by remembering the multi-layered Disney animation techniques in "Snow White" and "Bambi" and the like), I enjoyed using the program.This newest version, I do not enjoy. I'm nowhere close to relying on it. If not for that previous government training on how to use Photoshop, there are many elements that I wouldn't even know existed. Some things that used to be readily available are buried two and three folders deep in the program. I'm frustrated by everything new about it, from having to adjust the screen size of the image to the irritating window that opens up beneath the image.I do not envy anyone stepping into Adobe Photoshop Elements for the first time with this software. In fact, I've come to rely on the free, basic, quick and effective, Microsoft Photos app to do most of the quick editing that I need to do.I really wish that I hadn't wasted my money on this. My advice: look online. Try the Photos app. Experiment. Find free software and see if that does what you need it to do. Because this latest version is unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.Here's everything that Adobe sucks at with these products:1. Zooming in/out on the timeline in Premiere can't be done by pressing ctrl + mouse wheel.2. Adjusting fade in/out length and rate is not as simple as it should be.3. Opening either program brings you to window where you select which program you want to open, instead of simply opening the program in the first place. (annoying as heck)4. Photoshop randomly decided it wasn't going to open anymore.5. Premiere randomly decided to remove itself from my PC.6. It has since been fixed but for at least ~3 months nearly every video imported into Premiere had giant green bars stuck to it.I actually like both applications but these issues are so basic it has me wondering if Adobe either doesn't care or is trying to push you towards a more expensive product.I have several photo editors/organizers on my Windows 10. This is the only one that has had issues.Problems noted in the first week of use:1) Conflict with Task Bar that causes the Organizer screen to freeze when first opened.2) Downloading of 2 of every image when downloading via USB cable.3) Useless collage function that claims photos used are disconnected when the individual photos are perfect.I spent a dozen hours on each of the above glitches. I was going to live with the first two until the third occurred. That was one too many. I returned the software.The best features that were almost enough to make me want to keep it despite the bugs are:* Fabulous search feature that quickly calls up photos based on any of dozens of words entered in Find, such as bird, dog, house, car, train, boat, sky, tree, etc. It also has a superior face recognition tool.* A setting to go to RAW controls that works even for .jpgs.The other photo organizer apps I use without any problems at all include:Lightroom 5Photoshop Elements 9CyberLink Photo Director 12Google PhotosAmazon PhotosDigikamPicasa 3I am disappointed with this program. Is it made only for experts? I find it difficult to do even simple things such as cropping a photo or adding text. Nothing seems to work correctly. I do not recommend this product.Just a (2022) follow-up to my review: I bought Movavi video editing program for about 1/3 the cost. It is user friendly, and works very well.Has more features than I will ever be able to use being an amateur videographer. Initially the learning is a challenge, but not that bad. But the nice thing is that Element 2021 has MANY tutorial videos on YouTube. Help yourself out tremendously and watch as many as you can. Once figured out, Photoshop/Premiere Elements 2021 is an excellent package. Oh, it is a one time expense and no monthly fees which in long run is much cheaper than subscription products.Had difficulty registering the software online. Site didn’t acknowledge the code’s initially.Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 adds support for new camera RAW formats like Canon's proprietary CR2 format. It also adds new features for editing your photos from my older version, 2014. I've been using Photoshop Elements since it's introduction in the early 2000s, so, I'm pretty familiar with its user interface and tools. However, this is a powerful editing software and watching some YouTube videos on its use and features would be helpful for the uninitiated. However, for the money, it can't be beat as a photo editing software for the prosumer photography enthusiast.No he podido reinstalarlo aunque me funciono por tres meses. y ahora no funciona ni puedo reinstalarlo de nuevo. lo he intentado instalar en varias ocasiones y me envia un error. No he podido instalar ni el trial. he desactivado el antivirus y he borrado creative cloud y me sigue dando error. He entrado a la pagina de adobe y no encuentro información para reinstalarlo. podría el vendedor orientarme para su reinstalación???This product will not work on windows 8.1 (not an old system) and was not mentioned in the Amazon description. I am still waiting for my refund after sending it back.Works as advertised. No complaints.Can not get it to load on windows 10.no era lo que espereraba. si me arrepiento de este gasto.
