MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50 Sunscreen 30ml - Oil-Free Primer with Broad Spectrum Protection | Perfect for Daily Makeup Base & Sun Protection

This has a slight sun-blocky odor but not bad. The consistency is a bit thinner than I expected but it goes on ok. It's fine under makeup. I thought it would be more like a smoother/concealer than it is though. It's a bit pricey so I'm using it only when I'll be out in the sun a lot and using a less expensive brand for every day.The Mac prep and prime face protector with 50 spf came in a timely manor. The wrapping was very nice with tissue paper. It came in a Mac box also. I have used this product for over a year now and I am in love with it. I was using Stila which I also love but there is no competition up against this face primer. It leaves my face slightly dewey and shimmery. The foundation is much easier to apply. It seals and protects my skin all day long. A product I cannot live without!A friend recommended I try this product. I was looking for a good primer that moisturized as well as protected my sensitive skin from the sun. Also one that allowed makeup to go on more smoothly. I've used many other primers in the past & hoped this one would be the best. It's good as far as protection, but a bit too thick, & greasy otherwise. Also pricey. But I will still use it as my back-up product.It’s a good quality product, its upplay well and not waight. But its not for everyday using , becous going to “close “ e pores...I thought this product was supposed to be more absorbent. I saw a youtube video and was excited to find a very mattefying high spf primer. I use it as sunscreen but is too oily to put makeup over it. I have oily combination skin.This was pretty nice. But I didn’t care for the smell, and it didn’t help at all with my oily skinI use the regular prep and prime visage all the time and I love it, I thought this would be the same but with sunscreen and it's not. The texture is much different and it made my face feel greasy. I'm going to stick to the regular one from now on, even though it doesn't provide sun protection.I like how it blends into the face. Its a little greasy feeling at first but if you let it sit for a minute it's fine. It's like a thick lotion. I like that it has SPF in it. The downfall is I don't notice a prep & prime sort of difference. I basically only wear it for the SPF.
