Two year old grandson loves it (“blue book nana!”) and it has many of my traditional remembered childhood rhymes from earlier generations. The illustrations are charming. However they are very euro centric (the characters pictured) and I wish they were more diverse. He likes following some characters as they recur through several pages. It is a nice size and not too long. We have spent many happy hours singing and going through the detailed pictures. Of course some of the rhymes are overly long, weird to modern sensibilities etc but you don’t have to read them all. Of all the nursery rhyme books we have, this is the favorite.
